Earlier this year, I wrote an article on the Philadelphia 76ers, and how I think they are going to win the Easter Conference this year. However, through and through, the Brooklyn Nets have proven to be a more complete team that will run through everyone this year.
To be clear, when I wrote the article earlier this year, my biggest concern was Kyrie Irving and his ability to handle stardom. The media has portrayed him as a tough teammate to work with and with all of the days he was taking off earlier in the season I had my doubts. However, he has learned to accept his role and he has played beautifully alongside the other two superstars in Harden and KD.
With Harden, I did not know if he was going to be able to become less ball dominant. However, he also learned to lead the league in assists and has made himself and everyone else on his team look great.
Furthermore, Kevin Durant is Kevin Durant. The GOAT. So long as he stays healthy, he will continue to be the most unguardable player in NBA history and will certainly lead the Nets to the title.
Lastly, after you are done guarding all of them, there is still Joe Harris. Joe is one of the top shooters in the league and an underrated defender. He immediately makes any team more efficient and would be the star on any other team. He is the final piece to making the Nets impossible to beat.
Due to the fact that all of these guys provide such a presence, the Nets bench and other position players have been able to go out and play, without any worries. Look for them to be a complete piece in the Nets lineup as well, and the Nets to be an overall powerhouse. They will win the ECF and the NBA finals, and I will not go back on this article.
